Sudoku Mission Privacy Policy

Summary

Sudoku Mission collects no data whatsoever. It has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and it makes no network requests of any kind. Everything you do in the app stays on your device. There is no server for it to talk to.

This policy covers the Sudoku Mission app only. Other Rooks Labs apps are covered by our general privacy policy, which describes products that do use accounts and network services.

Information We Collect

None. We do not collect, transmit, store or have access to any information about you or your device. Specifically, Sudoku Mission does not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or any other contact details
• Account credentials — the app has no sign-in of any kind
• Device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or IP addresses
• Usage analytics, crash reports, or diagnostic telemetry
• Location data
• Contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data
• Payment or financial information

The app contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no attribution or tracking SDK. It does not track you across apps or websites.

Information Stored on Your Device

The app saves your progress locally so you can close it and come back. This information never leaves your device and we cannot see it:

• Game in progress: the current board, your entries and pencil marks, elapsed time, and mistakes
• Statistics: puzzles solved, best and average times, win rate, and streaks
• Progress: your rank, points, medals, achievements, and Daily Challenge history
• Settings: your theme, board and gameplay preferences

You can erase all of it at any time from Settings → Reset all progress. Deleting the app also removes it. Because it is stored only on your device, we cannot recover it for you if it is lost.

Network Access

Sudoku Mission works entirely offline. All 1,200 puzzles are built into the app before it ships, and the Daily Challenge is derived from the calendar date using a calculation that runs on your device — which is how every player gets the same puzzle on the same day without a server being involved.

Purchases

Sudoku Mission is a paid app with no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. Your purchase is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see your payment details. Refunds and billing questions are handled by the store you bought it from.

Sharing Your Results

The app can share a spoiler-free summary of a finished puzzle — your time, medal and points, with no digits from the board. This uses your device's standard share sheet, and nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose a destination yourself. Whatever you share it with is then governed by that app's own privacy policy.

Children's Privacy

Sudoku Mission is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13. There are no accounts, no chat or messaging, no user-generated content, no advertising, and no external links out of the app.

Your Rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export or delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to provide or delete. The data on your device is entirely under your control and can be erased from within the app or by deleting it.

We do not sell or share personal information, because we do not have any.

Changes to This Policy

If a future version of Sudoku Mission ever collects data, we will update this policy and the app's App Store and Google Play privacy labels before that version is released. The "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.
